City to Soil™ – Faith-Based Science That Brings the Farm to You
City to Soil™ is a faith-based homeschool science curriculum that bridges city life and farm life through hands-on, biblical learning. Designed for Christian homeschool families who want to connect faith and creation, this K–12 program helps students explore livestock, soil, sustainability, and stewardship—no farm required.
Each lesson begins with Scripture and leads students through engaging, real-world science activities that reveal God’s design in agriculture, biology, and ecology. From soil pH experiments and composting jars to livestock behavior studies and farm business planning, students learn to think critically, act responsibly, and see science through the lens of stewardship.
Developed by livestock farmer and faith-based educator Mary T. Bowen, City to Soil™ offers a full-year curriculum for Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. Each includes:
