Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF®) is the world’s largest children’s ministry, serving in more than 200 countries and approaching its 90th anniversary in 2027. Founded in 1937, CEF is a Bible-centered, interdenominational, worldwide organization of born-again believers whose mission is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, disciple them in the Word of God, and encourage their involvement in a Bible-believing church for Christian living.
CEF reaches children and young people through a year-round network of ministry highways serving boys and girls from the preschool years through the teen years. These ministries include Christmas Party Clubs®, Good News Club® (GNC™), Children Reaching Children through Go & Tell!®, Junior Youth Challenge®, Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™), and digital ministry through U-Nite®.
These ministries take place in homes, neighborhoods, schools, churches, community centers, online, and other outreach settings. CEF also trains parents, teachers, churches, and other Christians to evangelize and disciple children effectively through seminars, conferences, and formal courses. Since 1937, training has remained central to the ministry, and in 2024 more than 31 million children worldwide were impacted through CEF’s combined ministries.
CEF partners with many homeschool families in Colorado, especially through GNC™ and CYIA™. Many families host Good News Clubs in their neighborhoods or help launch clubs in nearby elementary schools so their children can share the Gospel with other kids in the community.
CYIA™ is especially meaningful for homeschool students and families seeking hands-on ministry experience. Designed for students ages 12–19, this summer training program equips young people to communicate biblical truth clearly, lead with confidence, and serve effectively. Students learn to teach Bible lessons, lead songs, counsel children, and participate in outreach opportunities that strengthen faith and leadership while making an eternal impact.
