Founded in 2005, the Institute for Principle Studies (IPS) is a Christian ministry dedicated to teaching the Biblical case for the proper role of government. IPS plays a pivotal role in reforming society by restoring the institutions of family government, church government, and civil government back to their God-ordained roles.
IPS offers a comprehensive worldview course that explores the biblical basis for limited government. Contrary to popular opinion, the government is not free to do whatever it wishes. As an institution ordained by God, Scripture sets forth the boundaries by which government is authorized to act. Our job as Christians and citizens is to know these biblically defined boundaries and to hold government officials accountable to these standards.
